Jose Feliciano - Listen to the Falling Rain
Feliciano was once here in my hometown - it was not announced - I was doing sound in that occasion. I had no idea what he needed or wanted. I had pa set up with three mics in front for vocals + backline.
I was waiting in the hallway to meet him when he was coming - when he came, I said : "Hello, I am the soundman tonight - do you have any particular wishes?" - He replied : "What makes you think I am going to play tonight?" - then he went straight to stage and grabbed double bass and sang a set of maybe six songs - then he was off.
A bit mixed emotions - he performed good - why was he so rude?
