And if you don't mind MIC check out the Guild OM240ce. See the post "I bought a What?" for my story on it.

thanks tom, but too expensive and not my taste.
No problem amigo!! I understand the price category. But what is it about "your taste" that makes it not a viable choice?? I'm not sure about that...... Doesn't matter. You're not interested in looking that way. I just wonder why??????

I just don't like the looks of the cutaway and headstock.

Michael,

there were a few before 1994 with the same F-65 size, means 3" deep (2,54cm * 3 = 7,62cm). All are 16" lower bout (40,64cm).
This ad is from 1992 I believe:

since I'm more a leccie guy, I'd like to know which accoustic with cutaway would be the best to choose? . . . .

- cutaway for being able to do solos. . . .

Hm. Nothing wrong with cutaways, of course, but I've been playing acoustic guitar solos for fifty years without one. There are a hell of a lot of notes below the double dots.

Think Doc Watson, Gary Davis, Norman Blake, David Bromberg, Robert Johnson, Django Reinhardt, Rory Block, Leo Koettke, Dave Van Ronk, John Hurt, Elizabeth Cotten . . . .

For high solos, I like mando, squareneck, or electric. Works for me and doesn't take coffee breaks!

This might be a 1994 (?) from a limited or special run in Ruby Red. On the other hand I thought the limited models had also triangles left and right in the bridge. Whatever, it certainly looks special with red fret marker triangles and the red G logo!

It's available in the UK: http://www.frailers.com/guild-f-65-acoustic-guitar.html

Hi there Krysh.
I might be a bit late but have u seen the S4CE model? Its by far the smallest acoustic that Guild made.
Its in the size of a Les Paul with one solid piece of mahogany body (rooted) and a very comfortable neck with 22 frets.
Here you can check mine: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wslY8XT8NPM
If u like it, I 'm willing to sell it.
For more info message me here: steliosnikolidakis85@gmail.com
I live in Greece but I visit Vienna (Austria) often.

By accident a really great 2010 F-30R found its way to my home.
Anyone in europe wants to trade it for a F-30 RCE?
