Yes that is. A reputable Luthier rebriged it about three years ago and the crack showed shortly thereafter. I should have gone back, but did not.

Ha, ha... glad you like the book selection Stuball48. You would think the least I could have done was straighten them up.

I love mine, though it's not in nearly as nice shape as yours, even with the bridge crack. Good luck with the sale and good health!

Thanks wileypickett. I see you are in Cambridge. Della Mae is performing at The Sinclair April 13. If you like bluegrass, this is a fun and proficient all girl group. You likely already know them.

Hello, I am obviously a very late comer to this discussion but I also have a D66 and am interested to learn more about about it. It is not in a great condition, its previous owner having dragged it around all of the folk clubs in London. But, after a recent overhaul and some nice new strings, it sounds amazing and plays beautifully. The information that I have been able to find so far suggests that the guitar is from the mid 1980s but the folk singer (mentioned above) says he was playing it in the 1970s...is he right?

I had a D66. I also had a D55 that was lighter and more resonant. I also had a D60 that was no match for the D55...
