Hey all! I'm going to purchase a guitar on Sweetwater, within my $700 budget, and the specs and sound of this Guild OM-120 Natural sounds like a keeper!

Anyone with any use, ownership, or advice?

I have not played or seen one but I've been admiring them too. I would love to hear back from you if you follow through on this!

Thanks to all!

Fortunately I sold my Seagull here locally, and Fedex changed the delivery date from Wednesday to Thursday which is perfect for me, because I'm off all day Thursday! :biggrin-new:

Otherwise, since I'm working Wednesday, I'd have to customize delivery and pick it up at the store with all the thefts that are going on now. :neglected:

Guitar arrived today and SW put their standard winter 24 hour acclimation label on the box.

I checked the weather in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and it's been in the 20s at night, so I guess I'll wait until tomorrow morning to open it up!! :neglected:

Poly-finished guitars will not experience finish-checking.
It's a completely different animal.
(Somebody kick me if I'm wrong)

Opened it up this morning, acclimated perfectly, and gigged with it this morning! Sounds absolutely amazing, and really liking the neck feel!! Pictures coming this weekend.

Sweetwater rocks! Out of the box just tuned it and it's ready to go.

Not crazy about the EXP strings on it, but it still sounds pretty darn good!

The playbility of the neck is amazing.

Very comfortable all the way around!!

It's beautiful. I think the top on yours is one of the nicest I've seen; there's depth in the grain but it's not too busy. Congrats!
