FYI Steve there never was a 'hog-top version of D25-12. Well, not US-made, anyway.
My all mahogany MIC version - GAD D125-12 - sounds pretty good now, but is "thin", like it needs more play-in time or some time with a ToneRite. Of course I can only directly compare it to the JF4-12 in my herd, and that is really not a fair comparison. From that you can figure out the GAD is currently a case queen.
I bought it used from fellow LTG-er BoneDigger, but to my eyes (and ears) it appears and sounds new. If you can get your hands on a GAD D125-12 that has spent a great deal of time in a lap, it might surprise you.
