Good memories. I remember my friend's older brother driving me downtown to see REM's 'Reckoning' tour which ended up being the first of many REM shows that I saw as a kid...back when they were really great. I don't recall the guitars as I had little interest in anything but %$& and @%&**$ back in those days lol. I still think that REM was a groundbreaking alt band back in the 80's....later not so much.
