Hello! Can someone confirm the scale length of a 71 D-25? ... measuring from saddle to nut, where the string meets each, right?

Thanks. I may have a problem here.

all D-25s should be long scale. 25.5 inches or very very close to that

From the bridge saddle at the high "E" string to the center of the 12th fret it should be about 12.75, minus a bit depending on where the string breaks over the saddle. Error would be most likely on the bridge location unless the fretboard suffered modification at the nut end.

I believe Guilds Long scale was 25.625" which all D25's should fall under, At least everyone I have seen has.

Ok! It is a bit longer than 25.5 not quite 25.75 so I think she’s good based on TX. Also the notes at the 12th are true to the open notes. Not sure about intonation yet. Haven’t quite figured out how to test that. Okay time for a NGD post...

Thanks!
