Man, I don't know if it's because I've been studying this problem for the past couple of days or what, but at 1:00 you can really hear the imbalance between the neck and the bridge pickups. The neck sounds amazing and the bridge sounds anemic.

That's really interesting, I didn't notice that first but now that you say, yes, what a difference! And the bridge p/u should be the lead p/u in sound!

Is that sunburst finish on the D's & F's different from the Guild antique burst? Or maybe my eyes are just going bad.
