From what I have read, he really retired from touring some time ago, but was just going through the motions. Don't get me wrong, at 76 he can do what ever he wants.

We had the opportunity to see Simon and Garfunkel up close in 2004 - they started the show with a spotlight and a single drumbeat, then right into "A Hazy Shade Of Winter."

They also invited some friends named Phil and Don on stage to play a few songs :wink-new:

A friend of mine saw him maybe five or six years ago. He would agree 100% with this.

He was on TV trying to sing Bridge over troubled water, not pretty. I'm sure I'm in the minority but I always preferred Art's vocals
