My DV-52 again alongside an '81 F-512 I used to own and wish I'd kept.

awesome pic!

Thanks.

That D-35 has some history here.

I took a series of glamour shots, thinking I might list it, came to my senses, loaned to a nephew for a little more than a year, and then welcomed it back home.

As our "house photographer" (a.k.a my wife) reminds me, it's all about the light, and that was one of those golden early autumn days when even I can take good shots.

A few more:

Awesome backs :) Hey Tx I was afraid you’d jump in and crash the site with all those guitars ! Lol
I’d to see more of that Brazilian back if have a few more pics ? 

LOL, Me too Ray. My poor computer was starting to smoke when I was posting links, LOL! Here is the link to the original New Guitar Day on the 2003 D55 50th Anniversary Brazilian model. It has a few more pics in it.

Here is the NGD Post for the Masterbuilt Fleming F47-BRZ. It has a few more photos of it as well.

Great Photos Everyone and Great Idea for a Thread Dreadnut! As far as Joe's inquiry of who will be the first to take the title literally? I was this close but figured I would spare everyone the Horror.:biggrin-new: So glad to see you posting Joe, especially after that scare this morning with the 7.9m Earthquake 170 miles south of Kodiak, Alaska. That could have been a bad situation for the whole Northeast coastal area and I am so glad it didn't turn out to be. Have a good evening everyone and keep those photos coming!

Very Nice like figure on the f47 but then I like the shimmer of the D55 Brazil 😁

Looks like I have to learn how to change the size of my pictures - can it be done on a MAC without any extra programs?

It's interesting how much more porous the rosewood looks close-up.

It is labeled as "leopardwood". http://www.wood-database.com/leopardwood/

Sounds like a mellower 'hog, if that can be imagined. This one is a Pizzecci dread from 2011.

Thanks for the link CosmicArkie. I used to have a Custom Strat made out of Lacewood and it was beautiful. The Leopard Wood is a very interesting species and quite striking to look at as well.
