Daniel Bachman is pretty noisy :)

I actually much prefer others in this genre - John Fahey, Jack Rose, etc. but I'm not aware that they ever played Guilds. Glenn Jones is a big Guild guy, however: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQSlqwOGdOI.

Mine too. I've been playing dumbed down versions of this kind of stuff. Lots of experimenting with a couple different open tunings and trying to improve my fingerpicking

Actually, I meant "primitive" literally, i.e. I need to practice more - not the genre itself!
