How to adjust a truss rod

What I understand is that the truss rod adjustment is not about the neck angle as opposed to the guitar top, it's about the "camber" similar to a ski, i.e., it adjusts the "bow" of the neck. As I am not a professional luthier, I have limited knowledge of what I'm taking about, LOL.

Yep, that's pretty much it. Adjusting the neck/top angle is also known as a "neck reset.". :) Or a simple loosen/shim/tighten procedure if your neck is a bolt-on type.
