Wanted another Guild to compliment my Guild OM. Great to a have another acoustic for those alternate tunings quickly at hand.
Not to mention a different voice. I really like the all Mahogany platform and the 1 3/4" nut. The scale length is a tad shorter than my OM too.
Should be a lot of fun and inspiring.:peaceful:

Wow! That was fast! Congratulations! I'm looking forward to a complete review. Did you already buy and receive the guitar?

Just bought it. And won't get it until after the 1st of the year.
It is a 2016 model which I believe you can tell from the more open sunburst.
It seems the newer 2017 models brought the dark part of the burst in further toward the sound hole.
Looks great both ways but I like the look of this one. Played a GAD M-120 a while back and it never left
my want list in buying the smaller
all Hog Guild.

So this should be nice. I'll certainly give my review after I play it a spell.

I've sold my 00 Martin and Gibson J30 due to the fact that the OM 240E just feels so good an sounds really amazing considering its' build.
It is my go to guitar. Not being an all solid wood guitar in some cases doesn't really matter if the guitar feels right and sounds great.
The M20 purchase with its' shorter scale length, slightly wider nut and all solid wood Mahogany top, back and sides will be a great variation in a tone and feel.
Here's the pics of my OM from a while back.

Still confused on how this particular guitar found its' way out of the factory.
Never seen another like it. Doesn't really matter. I love it.

Can't wait to receive the M20

Very nice burst on your inbound F-20. Looking forward to the NGD thread. :)

Awfully nice fiddleback maple on your Westerly series OM-240E by the way.

No idea what year and the battery pack is on the inside neck heel so I can't see a serial number if there is one.
It sounds like a real nice Mahogany OM with a spruce top even though it has that Maple lam back and sides.
I really like the sound of a Mahogany Acoustic which is probably why I like the guitar so much since it sounds like that.
Crazy....
