Congrats on a sweet guitar. A good pro set-up will do wonders. The nut slots on my NS X175B were a little high and having that sorted out made a big difference in playability and intonation. You might want to consider a set of pure nickel roundwounds instead of the flats. Flats can sound a bit too "thunky" to my ears acoustically while a set of "rounds" will bring out some nice "zing" or presence in the tone. My X175B is all plywood with different bracing and of course all the electronics built into the top, etc but it actually sounds good unamplified w/ 11's. The Savoy, with a solid top, the right strings, etc should sound great. Also, with the 24 3/4" scale and med jumbo frets, it should be a breeze to play.
