Took my Starfire IV out for a spin the other night. Sometimes I forget what an absolutely great guitar this is, my oldest and best.

Very nice! I wish those '70s Starfires had bigger necks because they look and sound SO nice!

Beautiful guitar and great photo! I agree whole heartedly with your comments. I have a cherry red 1973 Starfire IV and am amazed what a nice guitar it is every time I play it too. I will get it out later. Thanks John

Yes, originally had a Starfire V that my parents got me for my 16th birthday. That was subsequently stolen when our house was robbed. Didn't have it very long, I still think a jealous HS person did the breakin. Anyway, the SF IV was the replacement, and honestly, I liked it better, no Bigsby to deal with.
