Thanks for the heads up :)

Which Hollywood, CA or FL?

OK, just found it on line. CA.

Are you nearby and did you have a chance to play it and see what kind of shape it's in?

Thanks!

That D15 at GC - you'd think they might lower the price after half a year.
A D16 - I find noticeably fewer of these for sale than the 15s -
has also been at GC for months. I had some correspondence
with GC about the 16 but eventually found a prettier brown D15 that I really
enjoyed for a while before it sailed away about a week ago.

I've had a D15 and a D17 now, really like these plain but beautiful all-hog guitars and
wouldn't hesitate to buy another if a deal presented itself.
Watch out for narrow nut widths though - the D17 was narrow enough
to be a deal breaker. The D15 was better, but just barely.

I dig the brown :)
I can’t remember do the d15’s all have arched backs ?
I’d prefer a flat back .

Ray, as far as I know, all D15s / 16s / 17s, pretty much the same guitar... all hog, all arch-back.

The D16 is a high-gloss version of a D15, but never seen a 16 in anything other
than the same brown that appears in the photo I linked. Have seen D15s in various delicious shades, from
dark red to coffee brown to natural brown like the 16, seems like most 15s I've seen have
been a satin finish vs gloss.

The 17 I had was high gloss, almost a honey-amber color.

Had a fantasy of trying to collect as many shades of 15s / 16s / 17s as I could and then take an epic group photo,
but somehow got distracted by other guitars along the way... :love-struck:
