That's awfully young to die of dementia, it really is a terrible disease.

Oh jeeze.... he's my age. Or he WAS my age. People in the limelight always make us realize that .... time is limited. If you don't want to go for dinner with those awful people.... just don't. Because tomorrow is not guaranteed. This is sad news indeed because of many rock bands (not a huge rock fan) they actually made me listen and got my attention because... they were great. Sad news.... I guess we're all in for MORE of this $hit...... jeeze. If I wake up dead tomorrow, I'm gonna be REALLY pissed off!!!! :grief:

Straight ahead rock and roll, no glitz, no glam, unwavering. One of the best rhythm players of all time, as well as one of the hardest working. Really terribly sad way to go.

Well put. Like them or not, they took electric blues into hard rock and launched 1000 bands, huge influences.
