I'll be playing in a benefit concert at the United Presbyterian Church, Seaside Ave. in Milford, CT, 7 PM, $10 admission. Usually they also collect food donations, and the money raised goes to a soup kitchen or food bank, probably the same this time.
It's the first time I've played out since my stem cell transplant, so it feels good, like I'm part of the real world again!

You must be feeling pretty good Brad, that's great!

Yep, it was fun, but it also wore me out, just three songs and hanging around for the whole concert. Made me realize a few things, I miss playing for and with others, need to get my voice back in shape, and have a long way to go until I'll be ready for a full night's gig. Also reinforced my feelings that the D-55 is a great guitar for fingerpicking.

Good on you, Brad.

Looking at the time of your post-peformance post, it must have been fun!

Super glad to hear you're feeling well and out there doing your thing, Brad! Know your limitations so you can keep exceeding them. :) My best wishes!!!
