It seems like Timber sleeps about 20 hours per day...this is his default position. He goes about 70 lb.

Our golden retriever puppy (now 8 months) sleeps an awful lot too. He's close to 70lb too. I guess it's tough growing that big that fast. :)

This is how my boy spends a lot of his time.

In Corgi circles, it's known as a "sploot".

He is a Goldendoodle, we have 3 of them. Our Mama dog is 1/2 Standard Poodle, 1/2 Golden Retriever. We back-bred her with another Standard Poodle, so her puppies (like Timber) are 3/4 Standard Poodle and 1/4 Golden Retriever.

These are some of the puppies, they were all chocolate brown at birth.

Sandy that pic reminds me of the scene in the "Wizard of Oz" when the house that Dorothy is in falls on the Wicked Witch of the East (or West) and all you see are her feet sticking out from underneath the house.

Yes, but the Wicked Witch of the east sure didn't have a tail like that!

Oh, and they don't shed!

Well, technically all dogs shed. It's just a matter of whether it comes off them. Mine shed like tow dogs, but it's OK. I've got a great vacuum cleaner!

That is funny, Sandy! You're right CA, it does kinda look like that, LOL. Minus the ruby slippers.

If I'm looking for Jake, this is a good place to start. He looks like he's in a deep sleep, but just touch his dish, or open a door which could mean going for a ride or outside, he springs to life. He's been a great companion for 10 years.
