    Starfire screw help

I need to replace the pickup mounting screws in my '67 Starfire II bass as the heads have become quite worn out.

Been to Lowes, Ace Hardware, and Menards but struck out. Easy enough to say that the screws are 5/8" long phillips head/pan head wood screws.....but is the diameter #3? Haven't found anything close!

Any ideas where i might find suitable replacements? Originals or something that looks similar would be great but right now i'd be happy for anything that might get it done!

    Thanks in advance!

Some screws are just a bit unusual/hard to find. Try finding mounting screws for "soapbar" P-90 guitar pups at a hardware store sometime.

My local Clarks/Ace hardware usually has all the bizarre sizes I look for for bikes and bass screws. If you have one in your area.
