Not sure I could handle not having the contrasting seasons.

I'm with you Terry. This is my flannel shirt season. Sometime next month I'll began to supplement as needed with wool. The only season that gets long is the second half of winter, but I've survived 70 of them so bring it on. BTW, my cabin is in the Sax Zim Bog, and in fact my property borders property owned by the organization Friends of the Sax Zim Bog.

great pictures! reminds me of upstate NY and Vermont, where I spend lots of time (in both) during fall, winter, and spring. amazing that fall is just ending in other parts of the country! it was peak in northern/central Vermont 2 weeks ago. as for the southenrn parts of the northeast, like Long Island and other suburbs...it's summer again!
