I actually played one at a local music store. They give "crap" a bad name. Plastic fretboard, action measured in centimeters instead of millimeters, dead sound and feel. Just absolute trash in every way.

Love that big chrome logo on the soundboard. I'm sure it improves the tone!

Whaaat? I love my Estaban... and it's a total chick magnet!
Way more than any Guild I've gigged with, which on a good night for
some damn reason seems to garner interest from middle-aged
and oldster dudes just like me :highly_amused:

This is from a post Frono made recently in another thread referring to the term "Chick Magnet" when speaking of guitars. Just cracks me up.:applause:

A number of years ago I bought a Harmony Sovereign on eBay, maybe $100, needed a neck reset that I got in exchange for a reasonably decent Japanese 12 string that had cost me less than $100. Wound up with a pretty decent blues guitar for less than $200. The kicker here is that the seller was so excited to sell it so he could put the money towards a new Esteban. So, I wound up with a decent axe, he got a POS for more money than it would have cost him to fix up the Harmony.
