My wife's name is Nicola, so I had to try a set...http://www.nicolastrings.com/

Got the light gauge pb which is .12-.52 as the Santa Cruz needs little tension to really get top moving.

anyone here ever try them?

the Guild really needs medium strings to fully wake up, and my finger pads just cannot abide with that gauge. thus, i have essentially closeted the Br (ol Flattop) for an indefinite period of time. Hey, maybe in 20 years someone will post on the LTG:

"Scored! total closet find, Guild dread, uncrushed from Westerly, 70 years old, dude never played it..." etc

we can all have a laugh then.

Wow, and I consider myself fickle!

You run hot and cold on that old BR, Wood.

my 8 year old son has appeared interested in it, when he gets a little bigger. there is much hope still yet.

More like schizophrenia...or even manic. Woodman you need a compression pedal for your mind....

I've heard your 25 on vids and I honestly think you can't hear the beauty of its tone from where you sit.
