I've seen some interesting ideas for pickup quick-changes in the past, but that one is the most elegant to me.

Here are some others:

I like it. But you would need two, with the other one allowing the PUs location to vary, like the Gibson Grabber.

I've always been intrigued by these Ampeg guitars. The main axe for Fu Manchu's Scott Hill.

If you watch some of the older videos by TV Jones on youtube he has a guitar setup so that you can pop in and out all of the different filtertron style pickups he makes in both the neck and bridge positions. The way his is set up both the neck and bridge positions have independent volume and tone knobs and the ability to mix the bridge and neck at the same time. I thought that his was a pretty cool setup when I saw it but I have to say that I am really Digging the "Wheel Of Fortune Tele" in the original post. GAD, Are they selling it or is it just a photo you found?

That's crazy cool! But... really needs color-changing LEDs in between the pickups
that sync to whatever is being played!

From what I understand it's a custom guitar commissioned by Seymour Duncan to show how different pickups sound.

I found it here: https://www.reddit.com/r/mildlyinte...this_guitar_has_a_wheel_to_try_out_different/

Discussion about it here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Luthier/comments/6o3jsa/ok_team_we_need_to_figure_out_how_to_wire_this/

The Rick Turner Model 1 has had a rotating pickup for a while. I don't know how FAR you can spin it though.
