Guild dv6 question

were these only made in Mexico?
I would like another d50 but would a dv6 sound similar?

IIRC, the DV-6 model was introduced with mahogany B/S in 1996 (Westerly). DV-6s with rosewood B/S were made in Tacoma (WA, USA) and Mexico.

What sort of neck joint was on the Tacoma/Ensenada models?
Also, can't seem to find the list price for this iteration of the DV-6.....Does anyone know that?
