In the last couple weeks I purchased a 1973 X 500 and a Corona era x150, there should be a 12 step program. I'll get pics up shortly.

Welcome! My 1968 X-500 is one of my all-time favorite guitars.

Welcome! Looking forward to pics. My '86 X-500 is a lifetime keeper. A bit of advice; clear out some space for more guitars if you're going to hang out here....

Step one: Admit you have a problem.

I forget what step two is.

I had an a pair of Ovations and a Walden, before I started asking questions around here. Look at my signature.

To maintain plausible deniability, don't ever count the number of instruments you own.

SWMBO counts 'em. Frequently. And remembers EXACTLY how many were there the last time she checked.

In the interest of domestic tranquility, I refuse to do the same with her many shoe storage locations strategically disbursed (in case of zombie attack) throughout our home.

She plans to throw 'em at the zombies?
That might actually work, but I bet they won't be backin' off from the shoes as much as the thrower..."hell hath no fury", indeed.....

STEP TWO: Now that you have publicly acknowledged you have a problem, Enjoy the Hell out of that problem!

Happy New Guitars Day and definitely post some pics when you get a chance as we all love seeing them. As I recently told another member, It is a very slippery slope that you are traveling down. When I first joined here I had 2 Guild Acoustics and 3 Guilds electrics. As you can see by my signature things have multiplied exponentially. If you leave them alone together out of the case in close proximity to each other for extended periods (Especially overnight) there is a very good chance that your Guilds will begin to reproduce on their own. Before you know it you will wake up in the morning to all kinds of wonderful Guilds that just happen to "Show Up' for no reason. Best of luck and look forward to the photos when you get them posted!

I sincerely hope she is never in the situation where she has to make a "shoes or hubby???" decision.

I will probably not like the outcome.
