The best blues guitar players?

If I'm feeling the blues in what they're playing and they have me movin' and groovin' to their tune, for me, they fit right into the "best" category. :peaceful:

For me, there just aint no better music than the blues!

there are so many sub categories - accoutic, electric, jazz, slide.
For traditional electric, BB King may be the best - he was not the fastest or the most technical, but he had the sound and feel. Others might include Wayne Bennett, Duke Robillard, Buddy Guy, SRV, Johnny Jones - could go on and on!

Yep.
Grace Slick once said "All rock-and-rollers over the age of 50 look stupid and should retire."
Later on she said:
"You can do jazz, classical, blues, opera, country until you're 150..."
I say there's nothin' cooler than old blues and jazz players.
