This is why I drove up to Westerly.
The seller lived in Westerly his whole life and worked at the plant as a teen. The story is that he bought this from a friend who worked at the plant. In speaking (writing, really) with Hans, we're not certain if the guitar left the factory as shown or if it was an employee build, or what, but it is absolutely stunning in person. Some of the gold looks way too new to be 33 years old. The seller was legitimately sad to see it go so I promised him right of first refusal if I ever sell it.
