Is this a good price? This is 15 minutes from my house and my daughter loves it (she loves the S281 Flyer I reviewed, too). The Flyer I bought was $300 and '80s Aviation Guild guitars don't get much love, but this is a 6xx and a 5-string, so I don't know. I'm happy to go haggle with them face-to-face, too.

Could be my first bass review!

$750 + shipping (which I wouldn't pay) plus tax (which I would).

Probably a bit high considering the current prices. That said, it's probably a better bass than most under $1k. Also, if I was buying a pilot, I'd want a white 5er.

You know, after thinking about it. You don't see a lot of five string Pilots with the
"foot" headstock. Matter of fact, I don't know that I've ever seen one.

I have been purging some amps and would like to see this one go to a good Guild home next. I'll start a FS/FT thread, but offering GAD first dibs if he wants this (and I am willing to deliver!)

The blue GC bass does not include a case or bag.

I visited the white one today and it is damn-near mint. The neck is like a canoe paddle. It's so wide!

Sadly I stood in there for 15 minutes looking at it and not one person walked up to help. The Music Den has never been my favorite store to begin with and that's one reason why. Maybe I'll call them later.

Thanks, but I don't have the room for that.

What, with a brand new barn out back?
Maybe if you stood it right-side up?

The barn doesn't exist yet! The mason just came out today to talk foundations, and yes, this thing needs a foundation.

it's smaller than it looks, haa

as you can see, it's just a touch bigger than the very small F-20/M-20

Wish that amp was in florida! Granted, then 40+ years of humidity probably would have done a number on it
