OK TX, I can see you're a troublemaker, LOL!
As far as picks are concerned I have a collection that I tried out on my old D-25M with D'Addario phosphor bronze mediums to see which pick sounded the best Plastic, nylon, Tortex, brass, silver, steel, bone, exotic wood, pre-ban fossilized ivory, and I'm currently working on making a couple picks from some thin flat pieces of granite.
My highly scientific test method (listening closely) tells me that the nylon picks produce the best acoustic sound of all the various materials.
I also prefer the Snarling Dog Brain picks or Cool Cat Tongue picks because their gripping surface makes them almost effortless to hold on to, they actually seem to stick into my fingerprints. Like I always tell my guitar students: "I'm all about economy of effort - the easier it is, the longer I can play."
