I apologize in advance for the Non-Guild content. Watch this drone footage of Blue whales feeding on krill. There is nothing next to the whale for scale so its size is misleading, however they are known to be almost 100 feet long and weigh over 160 tons. Imagine that, then imagine they feed on a crustacean that is barely two inches in length (essentially the food that feeds most marine ecosystems).

I've had a thing for blue whales since hearing Gordon Lightfoot's Ode To Big Blue (one of his history/teaching songs) as a kid. :) Cool video indeed!

Cool clip, thanks.
Why don't we eat krill? Whale only food?
I wonder how many pounds she gets in one pass.....

Ah my nutritional brother from another mother Pascal, we should eat them they are loaded with Omega 3's.

Cant answer the amount she gets in one pass but she's smart enough to "pass" on the smaller clusters as shown in the video.

Stay hungry my friends......................

Lots and lots, they strain it through their baleen plates:

Yeah I know it doesn't answer how much in one pass, but what's a "pass"?

4 tons a day multiplied by who knows how many Blue's in all the oceans.........that's a lot of Krill!!
Makes you wonder how them Krill manage to multiply fast enough to keep the whales fed! (and incidentally survive as a species)

Given both the interest in blue guitars and the use of the term "whale" in the gaming industry to describe someone who spends a lot of money, I was expecting something different. Tom buying a blue guitar at a Guitar Center in Vegas, perhaps?

But cool nevertheless. Thank you.
