Thread: Westerly Guild that is similar to the OM28 Martin body size...

    I almost bid on an F20 on Ebay, (1975) very clean. But I found it had the shorter scale. Interestingly the other F20 (1967) had the short scale also. One wonders if the long scale is really out there. I guess it must be. SS may be fine but as I haven't really decided yet I was reluctant to bid.

    the long scales are definitely out there, I own one currently (1976). I also own a shortscale (1970). 1975 is late for short scale, but possible I suppose. the long scale one I own has a wider and beefier neck than the short scale one.

    Do they have the same fret count or is there something he could use to help id which scale, visually?
