R.I.P - Jaki Liebezeit

Can drummer Jaki Liebezeit passed on Jan 22, 2017. Not sure if there are any Can fans here. He also can be heard on Brian Eno's Before and After Science as well as on the Eurythmic's In the Garden.

Bummer! I really dug Can. I must have listened to Ege Bamyasi about a thousand times. I think Liebezeit was a vital part of the Can sound as well.

Huge Can fan here -- Liebezeit was a monster, one of the best rock drummers ever, IMO. (BTW, my band Cul de Sac toured Europe, the UK, U.S. and Canada with Can singer Damo Suzuki, some years ago now. Wonderful experience.)
