Just curious how much everyone's Bluesbirds weigh - I'm talking about the '97 - '03 (or so ) Bluesbirds. I only have a regular scale available to me, but mine is a little over 8 pounds. Seems like I got a heavy one! Or not?

I have that blog saved, GAD, it is great!

So in comparison, maybe mine is not so heavy after all...

Interesting stuff! I had been thinking mine was heavier than most, but apparently not. DThomas, that Coronoa P90 is light!

Seem to recall a thread where it was shown that they changed the chambering in Corona?
Or pics of the chambering, from an ad, at least.

I like your guitar, Quantum, and it's light weight!

Thanks Lend27, that's interesting that it is in the ball park of the "earlier" ones.

The old Bluesbirds and the NS Bluesbirds are completely different animals to the late 90s 'Bluesbirds.

Agreed, but it is interesting the NS Bluesbirds are also chambered. Yes, I've read your excellent blog!

Yes, it is light, and I too am convinced that the chambering is different from the Westerly Bluesbirds and Nightbirds. I haven't visited my chiropractor in a while. Maybe I should make an appointment and show up with three or four guitars. :cool-new: I'd happily pay $10 each for x-rays.
