This is a bit of a weird question, but I haven’t owned a Newark St. Guild in a couple years, so my memory might be fuzzy. I remember the top of the NS X-175 I had to have a steady “bowl” shape without any recurve and without it being flatter around the edges with a more pronounced arch towards the middle. My original old Guilds seem to have a slight recurve, or at least a flatter area, and a more pronounced arch.

I’m not sure if I’m saying this correctly, and I may be completely wrong about what I remember, but I was curious if anyone else had noticed how the tops are shaped.

Thanks Walter.

I'm not loving the BILT, so I'm chomping at the bit to put some T'Armonds on a NS that I can not worry much about, but I'm not sure which one.

I've never had T'Armonds, but I took a chance on TVs Tele pickups, and I think they are stellar, so...
