What Bigsby for an X-170?

Hello All:

As the happy new owner of an X-170, I'm looking to perfect it by adding a Bigsby. Would it be a B6 or B3 for the X-170. I'm thinking B6, but just wanted to make sure.

The right one for it would be the Guild Branded B6 Bigsby. A regular Bigsby B6 should fit it as well. With the guitar being a X170 most of those had factory gold Hardware so a Gold Guild branded B6 would be the proper one. They do pop up from time to time on Ebay and Reverb for less than $200. I bought a new Gold one with all the Hardware about a year ago on Ebay for less than $150 shipped for a future X500 build if I ever get to it. They are out there you just have to find them. The Chrome versions pop up more often as well so Best of luck in your search!

This one works for mine. Rule of thumb: If it is a semi hollow, use a tension bar. If it is hollow, don't.
