A guy wants to sell this for $80 OBO. I don't even know the model number yet. Supposedly he doesn't know much about guitars. It is local so I might go take a look.

Yes, because the neck block has moved. So it's not major surgery, but the next thing to it.

That said, it's worth the money.

Assuming nothing else is wrong, what price range do you think the repair will fall into?

Maple dreadnought, arched back, snakehead headstock. It looks like a D-30, to me. It'll say on the label. While they can often be great guitars, they're not especially valuable. Maybe as much as $1000 for a pristine example on a lucky day. The case looks nice.

Like Gilded says, the neck block has moved... pulled down into the body. There may be other issues related to the neck and/or the bridge, but without having it in hand it's hard to tell. Additional problems could push that much higher, potentially exceeding the value of the guitar.

I wouldn't give more than $100 for it.
