R.I.P. Greg Lake

We've lost another. I d manage to find a slim Guild connection.
"I used a Gibson J200 with Guild medium gauge strings on 'Lucky Man'. I’ve played Gibson J-200s all my life. If you’re strumming, they sound deep and rich, and if you cross-pick, they possess a really delicate sound, and you can use it equally well for both picking and strumming. It’s a fantastic, all-around rock singer’s guitar."

It's a sad year...unfortunately, Mr. Emerson took his own life...

Sad year, indeed. Unfortunately, I'm afraid the passing of the musicians I listened to in my formative years is only likely to accelerate. Drugs took out so many of them when they were young, but now the circle of life is really kicking in.

I just want to say that it just puts into high relief how short life is and how important it is to live it fully.

I somewhat arbitrarily decided we did not need two Greg Lake threads so merged the less active one. No harm, no foul.
