I know these have thick necks, and that measurements will vary from one guitar to another, but has anyone ever measured one with a set of calipers? I'm trying to get a sense of how big a typical Blues 90 neck is, and how they compare to a Gibson 50's neck. I like thicker necks, but I find that some of the '57 and '58 reissue Les Pauls are just too thick for me to play comfortably. The newer historic models seem to be slightly smaller and more manageable than the old ones were.
Given that any purchase would have to be online, do you think one of these models is a good choice for someone who likes a neck that is thick, but not baseball bat thick? Thanks.
