Hi there!
I am new to this forum.
As I am a big fan of aer amps, I would like to tell you that I have seen a new website for aer amps.
It is www.aer-music.com

Seems to be absoluteley new, as it is missing some informations such as the specs of the amps. I guess the site is still in the building and will be growing soon.

I absolutely L O V E their bass amps, as I have found no other amp that lets me hear my bass even in the largest Band- settings! I don´t know how they manage this, but the amps can really do that!
Also, they are lightweight, a lot louder than you may this for an amp this size, and... yes, expensive. But I think, they are worth every penny, as they ...... see above!

Greetings,
Bernd

AND, Bernd ... do you have a Guild or two? And do you work for the AER company? We're an inquisitive group here. Just wondering about you.... :devilish:

Bernd, welcome. Never heard an AER amp, and never heard of the company, so thanks for chiming in. I just googled them, and would have to agree with you in at least that yes, they are expensive. A 1x10 200 watt combo for $1,800 must have all kinds of magic inside, i would imagine. at least it must be lightweight!

If it is the Bernd from Steinberger land, he is a really nice guy and helped me figure out a lot of things on SSH EMG pickup configuration that needed taming on a Steinie I had in 2012/13.

But I'll let Bernd tell his own story, if he feels like it.

AER was a German company making excellent (and expensive) amplifiers. Their webpage (which is still alive) was: http://www.aer-amps.com/en/
However that company was called "AER Audio Electric Research GmbH" and moved in 2015 from Fuldabrück to Recklinghausen and by September 2015 was renamed into "Sound & Music Product Production GmbH" and that company was dissolved by end of 2015. I never read anything about the reasons however.

I own one of their great acoustic amps, the AER Compact 60.
Tommy Emmanuel is using it live on stage for instance.

Now just on August 30, 2016 a new company was founded under the name "AER Music GmbH" in the town of Velbert in Germany.
They have created that preliminary webpage that Bernd promoted above. http://www.aer-music.com/aer_music_imprint_prelim.html

Whoever Bernd is, he simply joined many guitar forums as "new member" to promote the new webpage of a just re-founded company.
Some already deleted his advertisement like: http://www.gitarren-forum.de/threads/844513-neue-aer-website?p=1155689
Others still have it shown like:
http://www.guitarforums.com/showthread.php?t=44868
http://www.acousticguitarforum.com/forums/showthread.php?p=5130075

I don't mind that he promotes a new webpage which is related to guitars, but it would have been nice at least to tell what his intentions are and what his relationship to that new AER Music GmbH is. I doubt he will participate as "new member" on all webpages he signed up...
