She's a bit of a Frankenstein but I haven't heard better

I used to get it serviced in Dartford/Jennings until the 90s. Now recently bought back to life and sounds amazing, still has blue speakers, Mullard valves,

I got it in 86, before then it was in Lulu's band, due to touring the cab broke so Jennings rebuilt it in a JMI cab, The controls are round the correct way, and it has proper handles on the side,

When I got it it was all black, and I got the old JMI shop/factory (that was then a DJ/Lights hire shop) to put in the Vox cloth and badge (much to their dismay). I also like the flush controls.

So it looks weird, even wrong, but it sounds amazing and definitely unique.

For those interested it is a tiny bit larger than an AC30 72cmx52cmx26.5cm

Love the old Vox amps. With no ventilation routes in the top of the cab it must get pretty hot!

I was just about to say that. Mine gets hot enough even with the vents, you must be able to do a nice roast for after the gig.
