Bobby Vee RIP

We've lost another Rock n Roll giant from the early 60's. Bobby Vee has died of advanced Alzheimer's disease. I remember him as good looking, clean cut, young man. He had a string of hits and like many got pushed aside in the British invasion. I think Rubber Ball was my favorite song.

You'll be missed.

RIP, indeed.
Just heard part of an interview with him on NPR and he spoke of being "scared to death" when he had to fill part of the void left by Buddy Holly.

I enjoyed his music. Those were the days!
