How can I edit the title of my FS/FT listing to reflect a change in price, sale of item, or other changes that may occur in the body of the listing?

Thanks!

I'm not sure that you can. I have an option to edit a thread but I am pretty sure that is a moderator option. You might try and display the first post, edit it and see if you can change the title but if you can't then your only recourse is to ask nicely.

The OP has the option, but it's weird on this site.

Edit post
Click "Go Advanced"
The Title field shows up, and you can edit it there.

The problem is that for some reason on LTG, that change isn't reflected on the page all the time. My guess is some sort of web cache setting in the software, but I'd need admin rights to be sure, and I ain't got those. Hmm... Could be a modern blues tune. I ain't got no admin rights...

This appears to work for me, as well, although I have to scroll some to see the field with the title. I know non-Mods have been able to edit titles in the past but could not recall how. Thanks.

A Postscript - bobdcat did attempt to contact a moderator nicely, But it was done by sending a genuine email message rather than an LTG PM. Gmail, in its infinite wisdom, decided bobdcat's email was SPAM and placed it in my SPAM folder. While I do check that folder there is no indication - on my phone - that there is new SPAM, so it took me a few days to see the message. If the moderator you are trying to contact is me, an LTG PM is probably the most responsive way.

"I Hate My Frickin' I.S.P."

The reason that I signed up
Is the reason that I hate it
I know she's made her mind up
I just don't know how she's made it

And my dial-up screen has locked me
Into a touch tone tune monotony
Because some snot-nosed pube has blocked me out
And I wait
And I wait

And I hate my frickin isp
He ain't got go bandwidth left for me
And I'll never get back
Never get back the time that I waste
That's what I hate

My job's so hard to swallow
But it's got me by the collar
In some motel 6 squalor
Where every local call's a dollar

I got no time left to jack off
I got a deadline that won't back off

I'm about to chew my own leg off
Cause it's so late
And I'm late

And I hate my frickin isp
I get bumped for inactivity
And I'll never get back
Never get back the time that I waste
That's what I hate

It rained cd roms that gave me
Twenty hours free
I let my service provider
Make a junky outta me
And then he cut me off
From my online community
And now I hate, I hate it
I hate I hate I hate I hate

I hate my frickin isp
His domain name lookup takes eternity
And I'll never get back
Never get back the time that I waste
That's what I hate

Na na na na na

I used the interface on the LTG page for PM. I have no idea how it ended up coming from Gmail, unless the fact that I use Google Chrome as my browser would cause it. I don't know your email address. How did that happen?

In the meantime, I have sold the guitar off-forum. The book is still available, though.
