I stumbled on his story a couple of years ago. Jill Johnson, who is an accomplished Country Music star in Sweden, discovered him on the streets of Nashville. That poor guy has had a lot of issues in life and finally got them behind him, although I'm sure his life is still pretty fragile.

Anyways, Jill sees that this guy has talent. Doug's life changed when he met Jill. Within a month of being homeless and on the streets, she takes him over to Sweden to perform on her shows. She bought him new clothes, teeth and whatever else he needed. He's on TV telling his story and apparently now has a following in Europe.

With all the crap that goes on in the world, it's a kind of a feel good story.

Sure glad I finally took the time to take a look at the story and then a listen. I could feel the "Real".
