Doesn't look like my other Starfire and anything else I have ever seen.
Is there a name for this? Lots of adjustments and very nice.

Hello tildeslash,

Not sure if this is a copy or the original ( these can easily be copied in this day and age), but a similar bridge is produced by Gotoh.
It's called the Gotoh 510FB tune-o-matic. You should be able to find info if you do a search.

Sincerely,

The Starfire IV is original USA from 2000.
So are you saying the bridge is not original.
If so what do I need to but to make it original.

Thank you for the input Hans.

Hans did not say it is not original, only that there is no way to tell from the picture as that type of bridge is easily copied these days. It could very well be original.

Hello tildeslash,

Sorry for not being more clear, but I was under the impression that you just wanted to know what bridge this was.
Like I said it is a Gotoh 510FB ( or a copy of that bridge) and it is not original on that guitar.
Originally the guitar should have had a Gotoh 103B, which is pictured in the next link:

Depending on what you're looking for, the current bridge could be an improvement, so if you like the guitar as it is, just leave the bridge and enjoy the guitar.

Sincerely,

I thought it was original to the guitar and it never gave me trouble.
I actually never had to adjust it. So I don't think I need to replace it.
Since I got another SF IV and it has the 103b bridge I figure I asked what this it.

Regardless thank you for your assistance as always.

Two SF IV and they are so soulful and easy to play - where have they been my whole life.

I think some Guilds had this bridge as stock. I bid on a Starfire with the same bridge and I also owned another one with this bridge for a couple of years. I liked it!
