Hello. I'm new to this forum thing so if I have the wrong section, my apologies. I have several bass guitars to sell and have approached various different forums for the different models of bass guitars that I have. I have a Guild B-301. She is a bit bruised and in need of tlc. I would like any info regarding a selling price. I cannot find anything on the net. The only thing I can glean is that they may be sought after, but I really don't have a clue. If anyone can help, I would be most appreciative. Thank you xx

Welcome to LTG.
Here are two links to the model you have:

If you want to check the serial number and learn when it was built, you can have a look here on page 3 of the PDF file: http://www.guildguitars.com/support/dating_your_guild/

Regarding selling price you can check ebay for "sold" listings. That usually gives you a good feeling where the market prices are.

Welcome.

I think the B-301 is undervalued and under-appreciated. That means I have no clue what a fair and reasonable price would be. If I look at the Guild badged competition is seems that it would be a Pilot for the long scale or a JS for a similar vintage vibe. If you are patient, you can get a Pilot, case and pay the luthier for the TLC it needs for $600 so unless you can find a collector or the person who has to have a B301 because that was the bass she wanted when she was a teenager I can imagine $250-$750 probably would cover it. But my opinion is worth very little and I certainly wouldn't price a bass on the basis of my opinion. :)
