Don't know about the rest of you but I will be out in the field for the big moonrise tomorrow at 8:16 PM, PDT. This is a special moonrise because the perigee is calculated to be at 221,904 miles, closest of 2014. At 99.5% illumination, it should be a big bruiser, sure to interfere with the Perseid meteor showers but hey! :rugby:

I have a spot picked out north of here, close to the BC border with an open view of Mt. Baker for the mix!
