NGD! Well...to be fair, I picked her up Tuesday, so...it's been a few days. Here's the eBay thread http://letstalkguild.com/ltg/showth...-S-100-Reissue-Number-003-And-it-s-beautiful! in case anyone wants to see the listing. There were some doubts throughout about the action and bridge height and, while I never got the seller to reply with a measurement, I took the plunge anyway and got lucky. The action was high, but playable and the bridge was far from bottomed out...it was jacked all the way up. I have her set up and playing like butter now. She does have HB-1s in her, but not the HB-1s with the raised circuit board and terminals like 007...she has HB-1s like these (this is from GAD's blog, so I'm linking instead of embedding) http://www.gad.net/Blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/1994-Guild-HB1-Pickups.jpg Unfortunately my first set of pics came out like hairy balls and I strung her up fresh after I took them, so...yeah. Coincidentally, she suffers from the same grounding noise in the bridge pickup that 007 did, just not as severe. I had to have my luthier rewire that pickup on 007...I'm hoping this one doesn't get bad enough that it has to make the trip because, while he does good work, it does take a while. Anyway, onto the pics...this one really is a closet queen...I am honestly not sure how, since it came with no case!

Congratulations Hammer!! She looks immaculate!! I remember 007, that where the turning point occurred to go for HB1s for me! I sold my 98 S-100 re-issue after this photo!

Enjoy, my friend!

I'm gonna have to recreate that shot with proper reissue goodness, but it will have to be on my comforter cuz I'm not sending either of these beauties anywhere! :excitement:

You are the man! That 1st Reish is beautilicious.

Thank you ,sir...thank you. Now to find a case! And FB000001, 002, 004, 005 and 006! Hopefully in there lies a black, green and natch. Methinks I may have a slight problem...but it's a fun one to have! :playful:

The green machine is not a 1st reissue, right? I may have to rework that logo. And didn't Qvart say that the new S-100 cases fit the 70s models.

The green one (FB000093) is a 94 with all vintage-style reissue appointments (rounded fretboard end, roller bridge, yadda yadda), but no HB-1s...it has SDs with HB1 covers. The white one with the headstock repair (FB000115) is a 94 and has the same appointments, but with plain pickup covers.
