Yesterday I played a new Korean M-75. First, without the amp. Great setup, must have been 10s. The action was just right. No buzzing. Fret work awesome. Fit and finish were perfect. It felt great. Neck profile perfect, like every Guild I have ever played. Good sustain. I think the tailpiece does a good thing to this guitar's resonance.

then I plugged it in to a 65 Deluxe Reverb reissue. Neck pickup: wonderfully full and chimey. Both pickups - wonderful. Bridge pickup, a little harsh, but easily tamed with the tone control.

There is one thing they missed: the cap on the bridge pickup tone pot is nothing like a vintage Guild. Not sure how to describe it, but it doesn't do that midrange bark that my Guilds do. It gets really muddy.
