What other semi-hollow/hollow electric basses have you played/owned?

Gibson ES?
Fender Coronado (presently made as a semi-hollow or hollow vintage)?

What were the plusses and minuses of them compared to your Guilds?

I have and occasionally use an old Yamaha SA-17 hollowbody bass. I bring it out when we play acoustic gigs. It looks righteous but has a pretty limited tonal range.

Epi Jack Casady. Just sold it. Love the sound but hate the neck. Now I have two Electar pickups from the Jackbass that I plan to put into a Hagström Viking bass. It will be interesting to hear how those sound as a pair and how the neck pup will sound.
